Nicholas Meyer, Esq.

Criminal Defense Attorney

Nicholas Meyer was born and raised in New York. He attended Syracuse University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.


After college, he worked for a law office and title company, which piqued his interest in the field of law. During the economic downturn of 2008, he was forced to seek other employment in a different field. He went to work for JPMorgan Chase Bank as a relationship banker in a bank branch. Mr. Meyer spent 7 years in the banking industry, both in New York and Florida. While working at Chase Bank, he completed a Paralegal Certificate Program, in which he received the Outstanding Student Award and was encouraged by the lead Professor to enroll in law school. He took the LSAT and decided to make the life change of attending law school. He enrolled at Nova Southeastern University in 2016,  was the Executive Editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law and became a published author in the Journal. He received 2 Highest Grade Awards and graduated cum laude in 2019. After law school and passing the Bar, he was employed at Legal Aid Services of Broward County for 4 years, where he represented abused, abandoned and neglected children in their dependency cases.
