Melissa Abramsky, Esq.
Criminal Defense Attorney
Melissa Abramsky graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 2020. During law school, Ms. Abramsky developed her trial advocacy skills by representing indigent clients facing misdemeanor charges in Manhattan Criminal Court through the Criminal Defense Clinic.
Prior to joining Alex Hanna Law, Ms. Abramsky was an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami Dade Public Defenders Office where she handled Misdemeanor and Felony cases from inception to final resolution. Ms. Abramsky gained invaluable courtroom experience during her time with the Public Defenders Office.
Currently, Ms. Abramsky represents individuals across the state of Florida charged with traffic infractions, civil traffic fatalities, criminal traffic cases, misdemeanors, felonies, and civil domestic violence injunctions. Ms. Abramsky uses her diverse experience to craft innovative trial defenses as well as negotiate favorable resolutions based on the individual interests of each client.
