Melanie Veramendi, Esq. is an associate attorney with Alex Hanna Law Firm.

Melanie received her B.A from University of Florida in 2019 and graduated summa cum laude. She received her J.D and a certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies from Georgetown University Law Center in May 2019. During law school, she was a student advocate in the Georgetown Center for Applied Legal Studies Asylum Clinic where she represented a client applying for asylum which the client subsequently won. She also has garnered experience, while working for a private law firm, in handling employment and student visas.

Melanie is a native of Orlando, Florida. She is a first generation child of immigrants which inspired her to pursue immigration law.
