Marie Chavez, Esq.

Immigration Attorney

Marie’s own background gives her a deep understanding of the challenges immigrants face.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Marie’s story mirrors that of countless immigrants who dared to dream of a brighter future beyond the confines of their home country. She was brought to the United States at the age of 3 by her parents who were seeking a better life.

Marie earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2019. After college, Marie worked at an immigration law firm, where she discovered her passion for helping immigrants.

In 2023, she earned a Juris Doctorate from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During her time in law school, Marie focused her studies on immigration law. She spent two semesters working in the school’s Immigration Law Clinic, where she provided pro bono legal work while under the supervision of an attorney.

Marie aspires to empower immigrants by providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive and build a better future.
