Mara Neres passion for immigration started at a young age as she understood the difficulties of immigrating to the nation of most peoples dream when she and her parents immigrated to the United States from Brazil in hopes of achieving the American dream.

Raised in Miami, Mara attended Florida International University and received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Political sciences and minored in Criminal Justice. Her collegiate background and love for diverse cultures, led her to attend law school at Florida International University School of Law. While in Law School she worked for the Department of Homeland Security as an agent for the U.S. government, where she learned the intricacies of immigration laws, policies, and procedures. Mara knew that one day she would be a practicing attorney using her knowledge, experiences, and passion for immigration in the legal field.

After law School Mara has worked for immigration law offices, litigating in court, prepping clients for interviews with U.S. government agents, and drafting waivers. Mara hopes to continue to grow in the immigration field and help clients of all backgrounds achieve their dreams.
