Barbara Meneses, Esq.

Criminal Defense Attorney

Ms. Meneses received her Bachelors and Masters in Science degrees from Florida International University.

Prior to pursing a legal career, Ms. Meneses worked for Miami Dade County for 21 years in Code Enforcement and Regulatory Compliance.

After retiring from the County, she ventured into law school, a dream she’s had since childhood. She attended Loyola University School of Law, where she served as a secretary and representative for the Christian Legal Society and Spanish Interpreter for the Loyola Heath Justice Project. Ms. Meneses was a member of and competed in the BLSA Mock Trial Team, where she and her team members placed 3rd in the regional level and 1st in the national level. In 2021, Ms. Meneses obtained her Juris Doctorate along with specialization certificates in tax and health law.

Upon graduation, Ms. Meneses became an Assistant Public Defender for two years in Hillsborough County, where she had the opportunity to broaden her litigation experience by handling hundreds of criminal misdemeanor cases.
